Gilbert S. Blumberg of Warwick, NY passed away on February 2, 2018 at St. Anthony Community Hospital. He was 82 years old.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 30, 1935 to parents Frank F. Blumberg and Mary Drucker.
Gilbert joined in the U.S. Army in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1958.
He was the owner and operator of Gil’s Vending Service which served Warwick and the surrounding areas.
Gilbert is survived by his wife, Harriet, at home; a son, Frank and a daughter, Leslie, both of Middletown; two grandchildren, Alexis and Jordan; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis and her husband Peter Dignazio. He was predeceased by his brothers, Albert in 2005 and Melvin in 2000.
The family will receive their friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 5 from 10:30-11:00 a.m., with a service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Orange County Veterans’ Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY at 12:00 p.m.
