Robert James McRae, of Warwick, (formerly of Spring Valley), passed away on December 12, 2012 at St. Anthony’s Community Hospital. He was 82 years old.
He was born on November 30, 1930 in Westwood, New Jersey, and was the husband for 58 years of Gladys (nee Stockford) McRae.
Robert was retired as a Lab Technician with American Cyanamid, Pearl River, where he worked for 43 years. He was a member of the Warwick United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys; two sons: James McRae and his wife Nancy of Monroe and Robert S. MacRae and his wife Vera of Monroe; his grandchildren: Luke, Taylor, Jessie, Daniel, Robert, Kelly, Clint, Kenneth and Jay; three great-grandchildren: Sophie, Erin and Robert. He was predeceased by a son, Richard and a brother, Walter.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 14th, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday at the Warwick United Methodist Church, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
