Arthur R. Rhodes, of Warwick, NY, passed away on May 5, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Community Hospital. He was 85 years old.
Born on April 7, 1928 in Springfield, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Arthur and Edna (Johnson) Rhodes.
He was married to Ruth (Putnam) Rhodes.
Arthur was a Repair Technician, Chief of Design, with Reliance Electronic Motor Repairs in Holyoke, MA. He was a member of the Lions Club in Massachusetts and the Warwick Reformed Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Warwick; his son, David Rhodes and his wife Diane of Merritt Island, FL; a daughter, Annie Streiff and her husband Harley of Florida, NY; five grandchildren: Autumn, Seth, Joshua, Will and Joseph; and a niece, Cynthia MacDonald Waters of Harleysville, PA.
Memorial visitation will be on Friday, May 10th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home.
