, a 19 year resident of Vernon (formerly of Miami, FL and Pinar del Rio, Cuba) died on March 12, 2008 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Warwick. She was 48 years old.
Born on September 9, 1959 in Cuba, she came to the United States in 1970. A homemaker, she loved flower gardening and reading. She also loved to travel. She was a member of the Vernon SCA at Glen Meadow Middle School and Vernon Township High School.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Timothy Kent of Vernon; her daughter, Lysette Kent; her son, Robbie Kent, both of Vernon. She is also survived by her mother, Ada Murguia of Florida, a sister, Iliana Murguia of Maryland, and an aunt, Hildelisa Hernandes of Miami, Florida.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 16th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Monday at St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick.
