of Pine Island, NY (formerly of Paramus, NJ) died on June 5, 2007 at St. Anthony’s Hospital, Warwick. He was 48 years old.
Born on October 27, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Filomena Scognamiglio Urgo and the late Joseph P. Urgo.
He was the husband of Illeana Tschaikowsky Urgo.
Mr. Urgo was an Excavating Machine Operator and formerly worked with Olympic Pools, Saddle Brook, NJ. He was a member of Church of the Annunciation, Paramus, NJ.
A family statement read “He was a great Dad, loved by his children.”
He is survived by his wife, Illeana; his mother, Filomena Urgo of Midland Park, NJ; his children: John J., Nicholas J., Michael W., Olivia E. and Joseph A., all of Pine Island, NY; his brothers: Joseph P. Urgo of New York City and Thomas J. Urgo of Ridgewood, NJ; his sisters: Mary Perrone of Midland Park, NJ, Ann Armagost of Warwick, NY and Bernadette Doherty of Vernon, NJ.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 8th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am on Saturday at St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick. Interment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
