of Warwick, died on April 17, 2008 at Westchester Medical Center, after a ten year battle with kidney cancer. She was 53 years old.
Born on May 4, 1954 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late David Smith and Helen Dodds Smith.
A devoted mother and homemaker, she was a graduate of Monmouth University and a former Computer Programmer. Annamary was a member of the Warwick United Methodist Church, an active volunteer with “Meals on Wheels” in Warwick, and a member of the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association in Ocean Grove, NJ.
A family statement read: “A thoughtful and loving person of many talents, Annamary was truly devoted to her family and friends and will be missed by all.”
She is survived by her husband, Peter, of Warwick; two children: Helen and Edward, at home; two sisters: Vicky Galafaro of Lincoln Park, NJ and Debbie Edgerton of Farmingdale, NJ; a brother, David Smith, of Little Rock, AK.
Visitation will be on Sunday, April 20, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Monday at the Warwick United Methodist Church.
