Maureen T. Worhach, of Warwick, passed away on October 18, 2013. She was 67 years old.
Born on September 22, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Edna (Buchan) Cowan.
She was married to Paul Worhach.
Maureen was a Nurse at Westchester Medical Center and was a member of St. Joseph Novitiate in Round Top, NY.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Worhach of Warwick; her children: Edward Whelan of Fishkill, NY; Diane Smith and her husband Scott of Phoenix, AZ, Kenneth Whelan and his wife June of Westtown, NY, Mary Regina Costanzo and her husband Ralph of Phoenix, AZ, and Matthew Whelan and his wife Evanne of Monroe, NY. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 25th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Saturday at St. Stephens RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
