Kipp Warren Evans, of Greenwood Lake, NY passed away on November 11, 2017 at St. Anthony Community Hospital. He was 62 years old.
Born on July 21, 1955 in Brookside Park, DE, he was the son of the late Richard and Kathleen J. (Gardner) Evans.
Kipp loved his job as a bus driver with Murphy Bus Company in Hawthorne, NJ. He formerly worked for CBS local 1 in NYC. He enjoyed reading, riding his motorcycle, and spending time by the lake, and was an avid Cowboys and Mets fan.
He is survived by his children: Charrilynne J. Evans of Highland Lakes, NJ, Nicholas W. Evans of Goshen, NY, Kerrianne S. Evans-Woods and her husband David of Monroe, NY, and Kelly Jane Evans of Monroe, NY. He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Brianna Evans, Sophia Evans, McKenzie Ranck, and Kaiden Woods; a sister, Laura Evans-Coombs of Paris, OH, and a brother, Christopher Evans of Akron, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Greenwood Lake American Legion Post 1443, 40 Mountain Lakes Lane, Greenwood Lake, NY 10925. A private celebration of life will be announced by the family at a later date.
