It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Armao announces her unexpected passing on July 4, 2018 at the age of 73.
Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 1, 1945. She was the youngest of six children of the late Vincent and Rafaella Ascione. She was predeceased by brothers Vincent Ascione of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, Frank Ascione of Greenwood Lake, NY.
Mary is survived by her husband Thomas Armao; her son, Michael Vincent Armao and his fiancé Alicia Hogan; her grandchildren: Juliana Lynn and Luna Rae Armao of Greenwood Lake, NY; her brother Ralph Ascione and his wife Marianne; her sister Louise Cresci of Long Island, NY, brother Eugene Ascione of Little River, SC, and she was loved by many nieces and nephews.
Mary was an incredibly strong woman who touched the lives of many and held unconditional friendships. She opened her heart and home to many friends over the years and will be sorely missed in our hearts.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 10th, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, July 11th, at St, Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick. Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery.
