Mildred D. Klingman, of Warwick (formerly of Howells, NY), passed away on April 25, 2015 at home. She was 87 years old.
Born on March 4, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Kurt and Marguerite (Meyer) Schurig.
She was married to the late Arthur Klingman (2012).
A homemaker, Mildred enjoyed traveling and camping. She volunteered as a reader for Radio Vision, a ministry for the blind. A member of St, Stephen RC Church in Warwick, she always showed her love for her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Buchanan and her husband Thomas of Warwick; her son, Joseph Klingman and his wife Ellen of Hopewell, VA; her daughter, Barbara Paster of New Windsor; her grandchildren: Sara Scheuermann, Scott Buchanan, Susan Alicea, Mark Klingman, Jason Klingman, Mark Paster, Alex Paster, Naomi Paster and Allison Nava; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 29th, from 9:30 am – 10:30 am at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am at St. Stephen RC Church, Warwick, followed by private cremation.
