of Warwick,NY, succumbed to cancer on January 27, 2007, at home. She was 50 years old. She was admired by all for her courage, strength and positive attitude throughout this long ordeal.
Born on May 14, 1956 in Dover, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Pauline Mickiewicz Bochenek and the late Joseph Bochenek, MD.
She was married to Scott Rathjen.
Pauline will be greatly missed at her place of employment, Symrise, Inc., Teterboro, NJ, where she was the Manager of Beverage Applications.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Scott; her son, Derek; her mother, Pauline Bochenek of Onancock, VA; two sisters:. Eleanor Bochenek of Cape May, NJ and Michele Bochenek of Netcong, NJ; her in-laws, Fred and Wilma Rathjen of Franklin Lakes, NJ.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 95 Kings Highway, Warwick, NY, followed by a celebration of life reception.
