After a courageous battle with cancer, John Feely (formerly of Warwick, NY) passed away peacefully with his devoted wife beside him at Glen Arden, Goshen, NY on November 3, 2018.

Son of the late John and Viola Bertsch Feely, John was born in the Bronx, NY on July 29, 1940. He was predeceased by his brother, William in 2008.

On February 25, 1967, he married his childhood sweetheart, Betty Feely, who survives him at home. They resided in the Town of Warwick for over 40 years, where they raised their adoring family, sons: John T. Feely (Marianne), and Thomas M. Feely (Mariana); grandchildren: Kayleigh, Grace, Sean, David and Patrick.

John was retired from the NYPD Transit Division, District #3 in Harlem. 


He was a member of the Orange County Shields and the NYPD PBA.  John and Betty participated in the Warwick Seniors activities together for many years.

John was loved by many and will be sorely missed.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 9 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, NY. Cremation will be private.
