of Warwick, passed away at home on July 4, 2010. She was 86 years old.
Born on April 26, 1924 in Paris, France, she came to the United States in 1962. She was a retired Garment Worker with ILGWU, New York. Mrs. DiCandia was a world traveler, lived in Africa, spoke five languages, and was an accomplished artist, sculptor, and an opera singer. She was also a lover of all animals.
Preceded in death by her first husband, Gerard de Lacour and her second husband, Rocco DiCandia, and a sister, Laure Femine, she is survived by her son, Fabrice
de Lacour and his wife Alina of Warwick; a grandson, Oscar Arencibia; a great-grandson, Tristan; two nephews, Marcel Femine and Louis Femine.
