
Lynn Rachel Arnott, 48 of Warwick, NY passed away on July 26, 2018 at Westchester Medical Center.
Born in Warwick, NY on March 13, 1970 to parents George Arnott and April Korson.
A graduate of Goshen High School, Lynn was a Nurse’s Aide at Park Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Middletown, NY. She was an avid NY Yankee fan and had a collection of NY Yankees memorabilia. Lynn loved to travel to exotic islands and Cape Cod; loved birdwatching, cats, dogs and all animals. She also collected tuxedo cat items. Her favorite music was ZZ Top, Steely Dan, Chicago, the Andrew Sisters and classical music.
A family statement reads: “Lynn was kind and caring to her family and friends. She was always very generous to anyone in need.”
She is survived by her father, George Arnott; her mother, April Korson and stepfather Roy Barker; brother, Richard Arnott; uncles Steven Korson and Jody Korson and wife, Debbie; aunt Randy Korson Coleman and husband Michael; many cousins; and her beautiful tuxedo cat, Melissa, who loved Lynn dearly.
She was predeceased by her grandparents: Henry and Shirley Korson and George and Joan Arnott; uncles Dean Korson and Kenneth Arnott; aunts Joan (Arnott) Goosey and Shirley (Arnott) Kolman.
Memorial visitation will be on Tuesday, July 31 from 3:00 -7:00 p.m. with a Memorial service at 7 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
