Maria “Oma” Schilling of Warwick, NY, passed away on April 26, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center.  She was 98 years old.

Born in Silesia, Germany April 3, 1920. She was a homemaker.

Maria is survived by her four daughters: Gerda Weed at home, Ingeborg Dagele and her husband John of Florida, NY, Brigitte Schilling of the Villages, FL, and Betty Weber and her husband Michael of Kennett Square, PA, grandchildren Karl Weed and his wife Donna, Sandra Tomczak, Deborah Fischang and her husband Ronald, Brenda Downs and her husband Brad, Alexandra Weber, Michael Weber, and Julia Weber and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Karl A. Schilling in 1971.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 30, at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with interment following at Warwick Cemetery, 94 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.
