Patrick M. Reeves, of Walden, NY (formerly of West Milford, NJ), passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. He was 63.
Born on February 4, 1951 at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ, he was the son of the late Daniel and Hanna Reeves, and was raised in Teaneck. He graduated from St. Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, NJ and was a retired Carpenter for Bergen County Local Union 15.
A skilled craftsman, Patrick prided himself on quality workmanship throughout his life. He expressed his creativity through his work, his guitar and his song. An avid supporter of the NY Yankees and NY Giants, he enjoyed coaching his children's baseball and softball teams.
A family statement reads: “Patrick left a lasting impression on the lives of all he touched. He will be forever remembered for his selfless devotion to his family and for his generous and kind heart.”
Patrick was a loving and devoted father to his three children: Daniel and his wife Ann, Jenna, and Dana Reeves; and a beloved grandfather to Henry Reeves. He is also survived by his wife, Jan, and siblings Daniel, Michael and Noreen.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 5th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, NY. Funeral Mass will be at 9:45am on Saturday at St. Stephens RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Rd., Warwick. Private cremation.
