Jacqueline Hendrickson, of Middletown, NY (formerly of Bellvale, NY) , passed away on January 21, 2014 at Newton Memorial Hospital. She was 82 years old.
Born on April 4, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jessie (Lavalle) Amadeo.
She was married on June 18, 1949 in St. Paul’s Church, Brooklyn, and was married for 35 years to the late William H. Hendrickson (1981).
She was a waitress in Sterling Forest, and was an artist and a painter.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Hendrickson of Middletown and her lifelong partner, Robert Dodson; her son, Michael Hendrickson of Palmyra, VA and his wife Carol; six grandchildren: Cheyenne M. Simpson, Eric Hendrickson, Lee Hendrickson, Scott Hendrickson,Jesse Hendrickson, and Hollie Hendrickson, all of Palmyra, VA; two great-grandchildren: Cheyanne Simpson and Dakota Simpson; and a brother, Ronald Amadeo in the state of Florida.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 29th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
