of Warwick, passed away on September 20, 2009 at St. Anthony’s Hospital. She was 87 years old.
Born on December 3, 1921 in Lake Ariel, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley G. and Viola (Greene) Phillips.
She was married to the late Philip S. Walsh, who passed away in 1997.
Mrs. Walsh was formerly a Seamstress with Charles Rowe in Warwick, and she was a member of New Milford United Methodist Church.
A family statement reads: “She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.”
She is survived by a daughter, Gail Natale and her husband John of Warwick; two sons: Philip S. Walsh, Jr. of Helena, Montana and William Walsh and his wife Mary of Grants Pass, Oregon; four grandchildren: Gail, John, Denese and Mike; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a brother, Stanley Phillips; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Phillips; two sisters: Irene Davenport and Lillian Goodrich.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 24th, from 9:00-11:00 am at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Warwick Cemetery.
