Alberto Cospel, of Warwick, passed away unexpectedly  on February 2, 2012 at St. Anthony’s Hospital, Warwick.  He was 88 years old.

Born on February 19, 1923 in Tangiers, Morocco, he was the son of the late Abraham and Aquiba (Krispel) Cospel.

He was married to Lourdes (Calvente) Cospel.

Mr. Cospel was formerly a Manager with Harbor House, Fort Lee, New Jersey and worked many years in the culinary arts.

A family statement reads:  “A loving husband, father and grandfather, he was a colorful personality and always had a joke.”

He is survived by his wife, Lourdes Cospel of Warwick; a daughter, Lea of Warwick; three sons:  Simon and Joseph of Warwick and Ralph of Manasquan, NJ; four grandchildren: Courtney, Carl, Colin and Derick; and four great-grandchildren.
