, 41, of Greenwood Lake, NY, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2011 at home.
Born on June 26, 1969 in Warwick, NY, he was the son of John Miller and Donna Popolillo.
Joseph was a Heating and Air conditioning mechanic, who never encountered a problem that he couldn’t troubleshoot. He owned his own business, Crown Heating and Cooling – his professionalism will be missed by his many customers.
Joe had many passions in his life that included playing hockey, softball for Emerald Point, skiing, golfing, going to the gym and hunting with his friends and family in Hillside Hunting Club.
His greatest love and what he found the most happiness in was spending time with his precious son, Joseph, Jr. Whether it was coaching his baseball team, throwing a football around, shooting hoops, exercising at the Spa, or making a science project at home, their time together was always special.
He is survived and will be sadly missed by his son, Joseph Miller, Jr., of Warwick; his mother, Donna Weed and her husband Karl of Maryland; his father, John Miller and his wife Theresa of Port Jefferson, NY; his brother, John Miller and his wife Melissa and their three children: John Anthony, Michael and Lucas, all of Warwick, NY; his girlfriend, Stacy Piracci, of Greenwood Lake, NY; and his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 5th, from 7:00-9:00 pm and on Sunday, February 6th, from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Monday at Holy Rosary RC Church, Greenwood Lake, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
