
Catherine Annicaro, of Warwick, (formerly a 40 year resident of Greenwood Lake), passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at St. Anthony Community Hospital. She was 76 years old.
Born on April 2, 1937 in New York, NY and raised in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Olindo and Mary (LaSalle) Vellucci.
She was married for 57 years to Frank Annicaro.
Catherine was a School Cafeteria Manager with the Greenwood Lake School system. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Greenwood Lake. She was an avid Yankees fan.
A family statement reads: “Her life revolved around her family – her husband, children and grandchildren. Her faith guided her and she was a living example to those close to her.”
She is survived by her husband Frank; her children: Peter Annicaro of Sarasota, FL, Bill Annicaro and Cheryl of Wayne, NJ, Lois Battista and her husband Edward of Vernon, NJ, Marianne Verrengia and her husband Michael of Hamburg, NJ, Catherine Hobart and her husband John of Warwick, NY, and Frank Annicaro and his wife Karen of Warwick, NY; her fifteen grandchildren: Lisa, Matthew, Michael, John, Nicholas, Tyler, Ashley, Anthony, Alexa, Alyssa, Frank, Edward, John, Joseph, and Alexandra. She is also survived by a sister, Marion Di Salvio of New City, NY and a brother, Alexander Vellucci of the state of Florida.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 4th, from 2:30-4:30 pm and 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 am on Saturday at Holy Rosary Church, Greenwood Lake, followed by interment in Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
