of Warwick, died on August 25, 2007 at Valley View Nursing Home, Goshen. She was 87 years old.
Born on March 5, 1920 in Monroe, NY, she was the daughter of the late George Beatty and Edith Weeks Beatty.
She was married to the late Henry Sudman (1999).
A family statement read: “The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of the Valley View Nursing Home for their loving care of Arline.”
Mrs. Sudman was an Operator with Highland Telephone, Monroe and was also a Switchboard Operator with Union Carbide. She was a member of the Warwick United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Quackenbush, of Warwick; two grandsons: Darell Quackenbush and his wife Donna, and Wayne Quackenbush; two great-grandsons: Roy and Geoffrey; two step-children: Susan Tullock and Craig Sudman; three step-grandchildren: Christopher, Kenneth and Ian, and six step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by four brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 28th, from 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral service will take place at 11am on Wednesday at the funeral home. Private cremation and interment of cremains at the convenience of the family.
