John M. Treanor

(formerly of Warwick, NY and Danbury, CT), passed away on October 30, 2010 at home.  He was 55 years old.

 

Born on June 6, 1955 in Port Chester, NY, he was the son of the late John and Jane Treanor.

 

He was married to the late Sheryl Ann (Heer) Treanor (2000).

 

Mr. Treanor served with the United States Coast Guard from 1974-1981 and was an Electrical Engineer with Metro-North Railroad, Brewster, NY.  He was a former member of Warwick United Methodist Church, Warwick, NY.

 

John loved the outdoors and was a lover of all animals.

 

He is survived by his son, Jared Treanor of Pittsburgh, PA and a daughter, Marissa Treanor of Allentown, PA.

 

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 4, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, NY.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday at Warwick United Methodist Church, 135 Forester Ave., Warwick, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
