Michael B. Dombrowski, Jr., of Florida, NY, passed away on January 13, 2017 at Schervier Pavilion. He was 84 years old.
Born on April 27, 1932 in Warwick, NY, he was the son of the late Michael B. and Josephine Dombrowski, Sr.
Michael served with the US Navy during the Korean War. He was formerly a Line Worker with Ford Motors, Mahwah, NJ and later a Custodian at Rockland Community College.
A family statement reads: “Pop was not just a father, but Donald’s best friend and a very pleasant, generous man.”
He is survived by his three sons: Donald Dombrowski of Warwick, Michael Dombrowksi, and Thomas Dombrowksi; and also a grandson, Michael Dombrowski.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 17th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery with military honors.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Schervier Pavilion for the care given to Michael during his rehabilitation.
