Frank Paul Falesto

Frank Paul Falesto, of Greenwood Lake, NY, formerly a 30 year resident of Warwick, passed away on February 4, 2012 at Schervier Pavilion.  He was 91 years old.

Born on December 9, 1920 in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Frank Paul and Maria Dolores (Gaudiano) Falesto.

He was married to the late Rose Grace Falesto (1997).

Mr. Falesto served with the US Marine Corps during World War II as a Master Sergeant

and  he was a member of American Legion Arthur Finnegan Post, Greenwood Lake.  He was the owner/operator of Falesto Brothers, Inc. Sanitation Company, was a member of Holy Rosary RC Church, Greenwood Lake, where he was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #7496.

A family statement reads:  “Pauly” was greatly respected by anyone who knew him.  He was a man of great integrity.  He helped found Falesto Brothers, Inc., and was dedicated to its success long after his retirement.  He was greatly loved and will be sadly missed always.  His motto was “once a Marine, always a Marine” and he lived his life accordingly.  ‘Semper Fi’.

He is survived by his children:  Frank Falesto and his wife Mary Lou of Manchester, NJ, Joseph Falesto and his wife Eileen of Rocky Point, NY, Maria Ciccia of Greenwood Lake, and Patricia Frain of Douglasville, GA; nine grandchildren:  Joseph, Frankie, Kristin, Sal, Christopher, Arianne, John, Aubrey and Laurie; twelve great-grandchildren; a sister, Lucy Di Candia of Ocala, FL.  He was predeceased by brothers Vincent Falestra, Michael Falestra and Anthony Falesto and sisters Margaret Cuscona and Concetta Di Candia. 

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 7th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday at Holy Rosary RC Church, Greenwood Lake, followed by interment in St. Stephens Cemetery, Warwick.
