
Judith Anne “Judy” Feragola, of Warwick passed away on August 9, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 44 years old.
Born on August 30, 1973, she was the daughter of George Emmet Hankins and Barbara Lydia Appleyard.
She was married to her loving and devoted husband, James Feragola, for seventeen happy and wonderful years. Her children, Max and Liam, were cherished and loved by her beyond comprehension.
Judy was a gifted and talented singer/songwriter. She has lifted the spirits and hearts of hundreds of people over the years with her beautifully crafted songs and unique lyrical voice. Her daily posts on social media were enjoyed by many because of her unique way of writing her thoughts and expressing her feelings in a way that touched others. Just by reading her words, you were able to feel the immense love and devotion she had for her husband and children. She was a true inspiration to everyone who knew her. She fought tirelessly, with never ending strength, hope, and peace; even in her darkest times.
She is survived by her husband, James of Warwick; her children, Max and Liam; her cat Bing; her parents, George and Barbara Hankins; her sisters, Meredith Ketcham and husband Jeff and Christine Pearson and husband Robert; her brother, Kevin Hankins and his wife Sara; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 13th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by private cremation.
