Kevin Michael Nelson of Warwick, NY (formerly of Stony Point, NY) passed away unexpectedly at home on January 18, 2024. He was 19 years old.
Born in Suffern, NY on May 24, 2004, he was the son of Kevin and Michelle (Lopez) Nelson.
Kevin was a graduate of North Rockland High School and was preparing to enter the military. He was dedicated to going to the gym and loved working out. He also liked driving fast cars and hanging out with friends. Kevin was a great person; he was smart, funny, loyal; he was the kind of person you always wanted in your corner. He will be missed greatly.
Kevin is survived by his parents, Kevin and Michelle of Warwick; brother Antonio Nelson of Portsmouth, VA; nieces Aubrey Marie and Angelica; maternal grandfather Antonio Lopez of Tompkins Cove, NY; paternal grandmother Anne Nelson of Hendersonville, NC; his uncle Dan Nelson of Queens, NY; his aunt Kerrie-Anne Nelson-Cappuccilli of Clover, SC. He was predeceased by maternal Nana Patricia Lopez; paternal grandfather Richard Nelson.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen the First Martyr Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick.
