of Warwick (formerly of Phoenix, AZ and Cedar Grove, NJ) passed away on November 12, 2008 at Arden Hill Hospital, Goshen. She was 86 years old.
Born on March 24, 1922 in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William Morhouse Merritt and Sarah Cyphers Merritt.
She was married to Earl F. Kipp.
Mrs. Kipp was a Supervisor with J.J. Newberry, Cedar Grove, NJ before retiring. She was formerly a Cub Scout Leader in Cedar Grove.
A family statement reads: “She will be missed by all of her family and friends.”
She is survived by her husband, Earl F. Kipp, of Warwick; her sons: Merritt Guy Kipp of Warwick, Frederick Earl Kipp of Scottsdale, AZ and Glenn B. Kipp of Jersey City, NJ; her grandchildren: Aaron, Ryan, Justin and Jessica and one great-grandchild, Aaron, Jr. She is also survived by twin sisters, Thelma Van Lenten of Lincoln Park, NJ and Alva Jones of Walden, NY. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Lynette Kipp.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 16th, from 2-4 & 7-8:30 pm at Lazear-
Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, followed by a funeral service at 8:30 pm. Private cremation.
