Veronica Earley Tumalty, of Warwick, passed away on July 26, 2015 at Schervier Pavilion, Warwick. She was 92 years old
Born on February 12, 1923 in Ireland, she was the daughter of the late James and Anne (Gaffney) Earley.
She was married to the late John J. Tumalty.
Before retiring, Veronica was an Administrative Assistant with General Tire Company in New York City. She was a member of St. Stephens Church.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Patrick Earley and wife Helene of Warwick, James Earley and wife Donna of Annapolis, MD, Eileen Ewald of Monroe, Ann Patterson and husband Richard of Cornwall, Maureen Miller and husband Jeff of Goshen, and Veronica Knight and husband Jeff of Cornwall; and grand nieces and nephews, and great-grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary J. Earley and brothers, John Earley and James Earley.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 28th, from 7:00-9:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral Mass at 10:00 am on Wednesday at St. Stephen RC Church, followed by interment in St. Stephen Cemetery.
