
William J. Clark, Jr., of Warwick, passed away on November 10, 2016 at his home. He was 63 years old.
Born on May 12, 1953 in Suffern, NY, he was the son of the late William J. Clark and Janet (Kelly) Clark.
He was married to Debra (Lisewski) Clark, for 41 loving years.
William was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He retired Chief at the Rockland County Jail. Upon retirement he received the Rockland County Sheriff’s Departments Sheriff’s Star Award for his outstanding dedication and contributions to the people of Rockland County. He loved sports, coaching and was an avid Jets fan. He coached football at Albertus Magnus High School and baseball for the Warwick JV team. He also coached the Haverstraw Senior League baseball team and the Clarkstown Mickey Mantle Division to state championships.
He is survived by his wife, Debra of Warwick; his daughter, Erin Charlton and her husband Ron of Warwick; son, Brian Clark of Warwick; and daughter Allison Denver and her husband Paul of Warwick; three grandchildren: Olivia, Gregory and Mairead; his siblings: Robin Dillon and companion Ron Beller, Michael Clark and wife Vilma, Kelly Clark, Melissa Hebert and husband Chris, Penny Hernandez and husband Michael, and sister Jodi Kolesar; his father and mother-in-law, Victor and Margaret Lisewski; sister-in-laws: Susan Clark, and Linda Honara and husband Mike; brother-in-law Victor Lisewski and companion Vicki Berman; and 26 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Scott Clark.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 15th, from 3-5 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday at St. Stephen RC Church. Private cremation.
