
of Warwick (formerly of Flushing, Queens), passed away suddenly on March 17, 2010 at home. She was 65 years old.
Born on July 13, 1944 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Rita (Grabowski) Connors.
She was married to the late Richard Burgin (1969).
Mrs. Burgin lived most of her life in NYC and worked in Medical Billing. After retiring, she worked as a Lunch Lady at Warwick Valley High School and then at Kings Elementary School, Warwick. She was a member of St. Stephens RC Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Concannon and her husband Vincent of Warwick; a grandson, Dakota Concannon; a granddaughter, Caitlin Concannon;
her sisters: Barbara Volpe of Georgia and Regina Kabel, of Greer, SC ; her brothers: Gerald Connors of Las Vegas, NV, Bruce Bastiaanse of Blue Point, NY, Kenneth Bastiaanse of Duvall, WA; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and all of the Concannon family, with whom she was so close.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 20, from 7-9 pm and Sunday, March 21, from, 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Monday, March 22, at St. Stephens RC Church. Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery.
