Vincent M. Brown, Jr., of Warwick, passed away on December 27, 2013 at St. Anthony Community Hospital, Warwick. He was 86 years old.
Born on April 17, 1927 in Warwick, he was a lifelong resident. He was the son of the late Vincent M. Brown, Sr. and Mary Weslowski Brown.
He was married to Eleanor (Puccio) Brown.
Mr. Brown was a retired Produce Farmer in Pine Island, NY. He was a former Orange County Legislator, a Warwick Town Supervisor, a member of the Board of Directors Farm Credit Union, a member of the Board of Directors Federal Land Bank, a member of the Florida Lions Club. He was a parishioner of St. Stephens RC Church. He served as a lector at St. Stephens/St. Edward’s Church.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor of Warwick; his children: Janet Brunswick and her husband Donald of Windsor, NY, Eleanor Baird and her husband Robert of Florida, NY, Vincent M. Brown III and his wife Mary of North Carolina, and John Brown and his wife Kathy of Tennessee; his grandchildren: Michael Brunswick and his wife Heidi of Mt.Laurel, NJ and their children Ryan and Madison, Robert Baird and his wife Kerry of Warwick and their children Robert, Kathleen, and Sean, Stephanie Yeager and her husband Michael of Philadelphia, PA, Vincent M. Brown IV and his daughter Ashley of Middletown, and Craig Brown and his wife Emily of Washingtonville and their children Olivia, Madison, Isabella and Craig. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Grace, two great-grandchildren, Samantha Brunswick and Nicole Brown, and two sisters, Dorothy Coccaro and Mary Sicina, and a brother, Edward Brown, Sr.
A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick. Interment will follow in St. Stephens Cemetery.
