Nancy Marie Scheuermann, of Vernon, NJ and formerly of Warwick, NY passed away August 4th surrounded by her family at St. Anthony Community Hospital Warwick, NY. She was 66 years old.
Born on June 19, 1947 in Jersey City, NJ she was the daughter of the late Frank and Florence (nee Schlagel) Eppendorfer.
She was married to the late Herman Jr. (Bill) Scheuermann (1999).
Mrs. Scheuermann was a CNA (Certified Nurses Aid) for Schervier Pavilion in Warwick, NY and formerly worked for Arden Hill Life Care Center in Goshen, NY. She was a parishioner of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Warwick
A family statement reads “Nancy loved her children, grandchildren, foster children and family as well as her patients and friends. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, animals, especially her cats and the squirrels. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.”
She is survived by her daughter Kristal Dolson and her husband Stephen of Slate Hill, NY, son Herman (Billy) Scheuermann III and his wife Lisa of Goshen, son Steven Scheuermann and his wife Amanda of Johnson, NY, son Joshua Scheuermann of Warwick and son Derrick Eppendorfer of Albany, NY. Also surviving is her brother Kurt Eppendorfer of North Jackson, OH and her grandchildren Shannon Stanfield, Charles Gambuti, Ashley, Courtney, Stefanie and Jake Dolson, Madeline Scheuermann Krystal Heard, and Tyson and Tyler Eppendorfer. Additionally surviving is her brother in law’s: Bob Scheuermann and his wife Sally, Tom Scheuermann and his wife Hope and Peter Scheuermann his wife Christine and many nieces and nephews
Visitation will be on Wednesday August 7th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday August 8th at St. Peter Lutheran Church 70 Little York Road Warwick, NY, followed by interment in St. Peter Cemetery Warwick, NY.
