of Warwick (formerly of Richmond Hill, Queens), died on May 17, 2007 at her late residence. She was 80 years old.
Born on September 23, 1926 in the Village of Hrabivchi Ternopil, Ukraine, she was the daughter of Petro and Katarina Derlica.
She was married to the late Michael Hawrylowycz.

A homemaker, she worked for numerous companies as a seamstress in Brooklyn and Queens. Prior to that, she worked in the textile mills in England. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Ukranian Catholic Church, Campbell Hall.
She is survived by her daughter, Irena Ihnachak and her husband John of Warwick; three grandchildren: Stephen J., Catherine A., and Michael P.;
a sister, Daria in the Ukraine; a brother, Stefan Derlica in the Ukraine.
Visitation will be from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Monday, May 21st, at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Panathyda prayer service will be at 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Campbell Hall. Interment will follow in Holy Spirit Ukranian Cemetery.
