John (Jack) Wade Pullen, of Warwick (formerly of Richmond Hill, Queens) passed away on February 2, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Hospital. He was 88 years old.
Born on April 17, 1924 in Oakland, California, he was the son of the late James and Bessie (Shook) Pullen.
He was married to Antoinette (Ferriola) Pullen for 66 years.
He served in the US Army Artillery during World War II. He was a retired Foreman with Bonded Packaging, Westbury, New York where he worked for 47 years.
He is survived by his wife, Antoinette Pullen of Warwick; two sons: Stephen C. Pullen and his wife Grace of Warwick and Jeffrey Pullen and his wife Gloria of Queens; two grandchildren: Vito and Cindy; three great-grandchildren; a brother, James Pullen of Eugene, OR; and a sister, Dorothy Arnold of Albuquerque, New Mexico..
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 5th, from 10:00-11:00 am at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am at the funeral home, followed by interment in Orange County Veterans Cemetery.
