of Warwick, passed away on June 27, 2009 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was 26 years old.
Born on June 30, 1982 in Goshen, she was the daughter of Brad and Ruth Ann (Gove) Mc Govern.
Sarah studied English at Hofstra University and Drexel University, and received an Associate’s degree from Orange County Community College.
A family statement reads: “she loved to read classical literature.”
She is survived by her father, Brad Mc Govern and her mother Ruth Ann Mc Govern and her companion Tom Rudy, of Warwick; a sister, Jessica Mc Govern, of Warwick; her maternal grandfather, Richard Gove and his wife Mary of Pelahatchie, MS, her paternal grandparents, Thomas and Sally Mc Govern; her friends the “BSC”; her two cats:, Gizmo and Spike. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Ruth D. Gove.
Memorial visitation will be on Sunday July 5th, 2009 from 2 - 4 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm
