My friend Lissa

When I moved to Warwick Grove, a friend nominated me to lead the Book Club. That is where I met Lissa. There was an instant connection between us. We seemed to think alike and began meeting for lunch, dinner and chats on Lisa's porch.

When my niece couldn't go on a scheduled trip to the Bahamas, I invited Lissa. Without a second thought, Lissa said yes. We had an awesome time together. This led to other adventures as we found that we were compatible. We did not mind sharing a room or finding new places to explore.

I wish Lissa were here, she would love to come to Florida for a visit. She loved the water and I can picture her floating gracefullly throughout the day. I miss my friend Lissa beyond words.
