To Mom from your son

Sweet mother and giver of life, thank you for enduring the pain of childbirth so that I could become your son and make you proud of me. Thank you for showing me how to be honest and fair and for making me stand up for myself when I was bullied by others. Thank you for teaching me that being legally blind is not a handicap but merely an obstacle to overcome.

Thank you for working long hard hours so that I could go to a good school and get a decent education. Thank you for being there for me when ever I needed help and thank you for sharing your life with me.

I pray that you will now enjoy being free of pain and discomfort and that you will embrace the God of your heart. You are the master of your soul and the future awaits your wishes.
