Linda M. Sayre

Linda M. Sayre, a lifetime resident of Warwick, NY, passed away on November 9, 2021 at Garnet Medical Center, Middletown, NY after a long illness. She was 69 years old.
Born April 4, 1952 in Warwick, NY, she was the daughter of Walter and Ruth L. (née Quackenbush) Bierstine.
Linda was married to Harry Sayre III on April 21, 1979; that day it rained in the morning, giving life to the land. In the afternoon, the sun came out as if to say that something special was going to happen – their wedding.
A family statement reads, “Linda was kind, caring, respectful, giving and a loving wife and mother. She always put others ahead of herself. She always found a way to make other people happy, that’s what made her happy.”
Linda is survived by her husband Harry III; son, Harry IV who took good care of his mother; daughter, Danielle; brother-in-law James and his wife Kathleen; sister-in-law Gia and her husband Jay Rowland; and grandchildren Drianna and Dalton Rudy.
Memorial visitation will be on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home at 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY. A Funeral Service will be on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Warwick Reformed Church at 16 Maple Avenue in Warwick.
