Brynn Anne Melder

1/6/2021

Brynn Anne Melder of Middletown, NY (formerly of Warwick, NY) passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2021. She was 40 years old.

Born in Warwick, NY on July 11, 1980, she was the daughter of Joseph G. Melder and Leanne Burger.

She attended Warwick Valley Schools and graduated from Warwick Valley High School.

Brynn worked as an E-Commerce online shopper for Walmart in Middletown, NY. She previously worked as a Home Health Aide, particularly with clients with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Her care and devotion to her clients went beyond her duties and was greatly appreciated by her client's families. Brynn worked many years in the service and restaurant industry where her vivacious personality and great attention to detail was highlighted and appreciated by her patrons and colleagues.

Brynn thrived when amongst family, adding silliness and laughter to any gathering. Nowhere did her heart shine more than with her daughter, Joely. They spent time together shopping, cooking, crafting, and last but not least creating silly song and dance videos. She was so proud of the young lady Joely is becoming.

Brynn is survived by her daughter, Joely Urena; father, Joseph G. Melder and his wife Fran of Warwick; mother, Leanne Burger of CT; sister, Meredith Magi and her husband Steven; brothers, Gavin Mestel and his wife Ashlee, Drew Mestel; step-sisters, Samantha Romig and her husband Dave, and Caitlin Reilly and step-brother, Steven Laroe and his wife Jessica; nieces and nephews: Timothy and Samuel Magi, Cameron Mestel, Emily, Callie and Leah Romig, and Mila Laroe; several aunts and uncles, as well as many cousins. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Joseph and Ann Melder, John and Joyce Burger, and uncle, John T. Burger.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, NY.  Interment will follow the mass in Warwick Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Orange/Sullivan Regional Office, 384 Crystal Run Road, Suite 102, Middletown, NY 10941-4103 or online www.alz.org
