Bethrose M. Paternella of Warwick, NY, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 with her loving family beside her. She was 57 years old.

 

Born in Bronx, NY, on August 2, 1963, she was the daughter of Joseph D'Amato and the late Theresa (Furnari) D'Amato.

 

Bethrose is survived by her loving husband, Paul; son, Paul Paternella III, both of Warwick; daughter, Joni Maree Paternella of New Paltz; father, Joseph D'Amato and his wife Provi; brothers: Joseph D'Amato III, John D'Amato and his wife Niabi, Vincent D'Amato and his wife Christina; and many nieces and nephews.

 

Beth enjoyed listening to music, creating art, cooking, dancing and spending time with family and friends.

 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. A funeral service will be on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, followed by burial in St. Stephen's Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, NY 10990 or the Warwick Food Pantry, 135 Forester Avenue, Warwick, NY 10990 to help families in need.
