Bessie A. Winter

Bessie Ann Winter, a longtime resident of Warwick, NY, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on March 25, 2020. She was 72 years old.

 

Born on August 21, 1947 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Thelma (Westervelt) and John G. Prasch. 

 

Bessie was a member of the New Milford United Methodist Church, New Milford, NY.  She was a teacher for the Warwick Valley Central School District for over 20 years.

 

She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Persico and her husband, Brian and their children, Christopher and Matthew of Alexandria, VA and Amy Seidman and her husband Jeffrey Jr. and their children, Jeffrey III and James of North Hollywood, CA.

 

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, arrangements are private.

Sending my heart felt condolences I New Bessie from WVCSD she was and always be a beautiful sweet lady I was very fortunate that both my daughters s had her as a 5,the grade teacher she was so inspirational to them both always upbeat postive into to the talents and there future . She will be so missed my many of her students from the passed my daughters now 30 and 27 are totally saddened by this news mat her soul be at peace may she fully higher then the stars may she be at peace my blessings and prayers are with family friends and collegesmay peace be with u never gotten love her favorite School Monitor and class mom Ms Lorraine Giarratano

Our deepest sympathy for Jennie and Amy and their loved ones. We have such fond memories of our times as neighbors and friends in Paramus. Her passing saddens us greatly. God bless you and may God welcome her into His glorious Kingdom.

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Two of my children had her as a teacher in the middle school. She was always caring and kind. May she be at peace. Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
