Marie Louise McCloskey

1/3/2020

Marie Louise McCloskey of Warwick, NY (formerly of Stony Point, NY) passed away on Friday January 3, 2020.

Marie was born in New York City to Katie and Anton Ringleman on November 2, 1936.

In her younger years, Marie enjoyed spending time on the Jersey Shore and in the Poconos with family.  As her children got older, she enjoyed time with family and friends around the backyard pool. Marie enjoyed visiting Germany, relishing in her German heritage and spending time with family that lived there.

Marie enjoyed the social camaraderie of activities and being a member of the Stony Point Seniors.  A devout catholic, her Sundays were spent going to church to enrich her Christian life.  She also enjoyed Broadway shows, movies, music and dining out with her family.

Marie was the loving wife of Patrick (predeceased) for 61 years.  Loving mother of Patrick, Annemarie, Colleen and Michael (predeceased) and grandmother of Jason, Nicholas, Julianne, Jessica and Alex; great-grandmother of Bridgette.

A great neighbor and friend, Marie was a wonderful, kind, loving, understanding person. She will be sorely missed by those whose lives she touched and by all that loved her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 10 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory Barbargio, 21 Cinder Road, Garnerville, NY with interment following the mass in Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Road, Airmont.
