Mary (nee McHugh) Gibbons

Mary (nee McHugh) Gibbons of Warwick, NY (formerly of Flushing, NY) passed away on June 15, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 86 years old.
Born in Washington Heights in New York City on January 10, 1932 to parents Felix Emmett and Margaret (Gallagher) McHugh.
Mary graduated from Cathedral High School in Manhattan. She was retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield in NYC where she worked as a computer clerk.
She was married to Patrick Gibbons who predeceased her in 2010.
She was a parishioner at St. Stephen RC Church. As a former parishioner of Queen of Peace Parish in Flushing Queens, Mary was a member of the Ladies Guild.
Mary was an active Bingo player at Liberty Green. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her two daughters, Mary McCracken and husband Douglas of Wappingers Falls, NY and Kathleen Gibbons and companion John Naughton of Middletown, NY; grandchildren Christopher McCracken and wife Christine of Poughkeepsie, NY and Jennifer Raymo and husband Kyle of Wappingers Falls, NY; three great-grandchildren, Liam, Emma, and Ryan.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband, and brother, Hugh McHugh.
Visitation will be Monday, June 18 from 2- 4 and 7-9 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19 at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick. Burial in Orange County Veterans’ Cemetery immediately following.
