Eli Jacobson

3/4/2018

Eli Jacobson of Monroe, NY, formerly of Teaneck, NJ passed away on March 3, 2018. He was 84 years old.

Born July 15, 1933, in Brooklyn to parents Harry and Anne (Yarowsky) Jacobson.

Eli proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958.

Eli was a self-employed businessman. He was able to express his creativity through his business ventures. Eli owned property in downtown Manhattan where he built a car wash. He sold that business to spend more time with his family and travel around the country. In his later years, he bought property in Greenwood Lake, NY and opened a bagel shop. Upon retirement, Eli continued to envision and create beautiful pieces of furniture and art work.

Eli is survived by his son, Ira Jacobson of New City, NY and his two daughters Beth Alpert and husband Jay of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Linda Card and husband Duane of Warwick, NY; and five grandchildren: Stephanie, Rachel and Lauren Alpert; Shaina and Evan Card, and his two grand dogs Annabelle and Sammy.
