Rob was one of the hardest-working soldiers in the entire 1452 HET company. He was perpetually optimistic regardless of the situation in which we found ourselves. I can attest to his bravery as I was present during the incident for which his actions earned him the Bronze Star. He volunteered for the most dangerous missions and never backed down from any challenge. I hadn't seen him in 15 years but my memories of him are so vibrant that the news of his passing was personally devastating. I will miss him dearly.

We attended St. Mary's school and church with the Stillman family and our girls played sports together. Marianne and family - I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Rob as the dad of three beautiful little children and the stepdad of my son's good friend Seamus. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of loss and reflection.
