Jean Siniscalchi

Jean Siniscalchi of Warwick, NY, passed away peacefully at Valley View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Goshen, NY on October 21, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She was 95 years old.

Born in Brooklyn on March 6, 1928, she was the daughter of Philip and Mary (nee Calveruso) Quartuccio. Jean grew up in Brooklyn and worked as a waitress for Abraham & Strauss department store’s restaurant. Jean was married to the late Caesar Siniscalchi.

Jean is survived by her devoted children: Robert Siniscalchi and his wife Joyce of Naples, FL; Jane Barraclough of Savannah, GA; Karen Benvengo and her husband James of Warwick, NY; seven grandchildren: Laura Heinz ; Jennifer DiDonato and her husband Michael; Michael Siniscalchi and his wife Shirley; Christine Bertollo and her husband Nicholas; Christopher Barraclough; Daniel Barraclough and Stephanie Benvengo and her husband Matthew O’Keefe; and eight great-grandchildren: Jacob Heinz, Abigail Perez and her husband Atilio, Damien DiDonato, Piper DiDonato, Ryan Bertollo, Devin Bertollo, Ava Siniscalchi, and Mila Siniscalchi; and brothers Philip “Doc” and William Quartuccio.

There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, followed by interment in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
