Dear Kim, II never met you but I have net Molly riding in the baby seat of Scott's shopping cart at Shoprite. I remember when she was born because I was Scott's shotgun rider on his snowplow for at least two years, maybe three. Those were the days before he got his 4 wheel drive, so during those 30+ hour snowstorms we slid down icy mountain roads backwards together on more than one occasion. Scott loved his family. The last time I saw him, over a year ago (I have left the DPW) he was bragging about Jay having shot a deer with a bow. I told him I had been reading about Molly in the Warwick Advertiser and went to see her in Matilda. She was AWSOME! Unfortunately I have a lot in common with your children.. I was 22 at the time. It will be 50 years this Christmas. There is a lot more understanding and support these days. One thing that has helped my journey greatly is attending groups of people with similar experiences. There are such groups nearby. Please email me if you would like contact information or if I can help in any way. Thinking of your family with great compassion.

The memorial video shows in vivid, brilliant light Scott's love for his wife and family and their love for him. I pray that love's eternal luminosity will transcend the pain of Scott's passing and transform grief into hope and healing. God bless the Brady family.
