Mildred M. Banker

Mildred M. Banker of Sugar Loaf, NY passed away on February 23, 2023 at Middletown Park Manor, Middletown, NY with her loving family beside her. She was 92 years old.

Born in Tuxedo, NY on April 8, 1930, she was the daughter of Ralph K. and Madeline (nee Walton) Murch. She was predeceased by her husband the late W. Robert Banker (November 29, 2022) with whom she shared 73 years of marriage.

Mildred was a longtime member of the Sugar Loaf United Methodist Church an active member of the craft group and a Sunday School teacher. She also was a 4-H leader for many years and active in the local club and the Orange County programs.

Mildred is survived by her son Tim Banker and his wife Melanie; daughters Carol Olsen and her husband Tom, Laurie Galvez, JoAnn Piatt, and Mary Vandunk; son-in-law Wayne Riley; daughter-in-law June Banker; brother Richard Murch of ME many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughters Nancy Riley and Robin Ugarte and son Robert Banker as well as her brothers Kenneth, Francis, George, Arthur and Ralph Murch and her sister Janet De Finis

A graveside service will be held in Warwick Cemetery on Saturday, March 4^th, 2023. Family and friends should meet at the cemetery at 10:00 am. A luncheon will take place at 11:30 am at the Sugar Loaf United Methodist Church, 1387 Kings Highway, Sugar Loaf, NY 10981 with a 12:30 pm Celebration of Life following the luncheon at the church.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the Sugar Loaf United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 95, Sugar Loaf, NY 10981.
