My Thoughts and Prayers are with you at this difficult time. Nicole and I had time together, I got to know her big heart and personality were courageous. Nicole taught me to understand certain challenges in life and the strong will to change them. Nicole was a true inspiration for everyone around her, Nicole's love will remain with us, for love always lives on and cherished memories never fade. I am sending love and prayers and hope you find strength during this dark time. Patti Milhaven

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most difficult time. I am a teacher at Vanderheyden and has the honor of knowing Nicola "Cola" during her years at Vanderheyden. To say that we ALL loved her is an absolute understatement. She was an absolute joy!!! I still work at Vanderheyden and share the special connection that Nicole and her "polly" sisters have continued to have throughout their lives. They remained close and considered themselves family. The bond they share is just BEAUTIFUL. There is no doubt that Nicole will always be with you all, watching over and protecting you from above.
